Chapter Announcements

  • Update on certification review courses

As ISACA continues evolving their certification review training materials and instructor requirements designed to protect ISACA’s intellectual property, the North Texas chapter is temporarily unable to deliver the certification review courses without breaching our chapter’s agreements.

I am working with ISACA to comply with requirements to offer these trainings once again, but the timeline for this process is likely to prohibit offering review courses in Fall 2025. I understand this impacts CPE plans for many of our members, and am providing notification so you may make alternate arrangements to achieve your 2025 CPE goals.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • Investing in the Future: ISACA NTX Donates to Area Universities

At our September chapter meeting, ISACA North Texas proudly focused on Academic Engagement and Workforce Development, reinforcing our commitment to the next generation of cybersecurity, audit, and IT governance professionals.

As part of this initiative, we have made donations to three outstanding local institutions:

    • University of North Texas
    • University of Texas at Dallas
    • University of Texas at Arlington

These contributions support student programs, scholarships, and academic outreach, helping to build a stronger pipeline of talent for our industry.

We’re excited to keep building bridges between the professional and academic communities—and we thank our members for being part of this important mission.

  • ISACA NTX Volunteers Serve Up Compassion at Ronald McDonald House of Dallas

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, ISACA North Texas Chapter volunteers came together to support families in need by preparing and serving “Meals That Heal” at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. This heartfelt initiative provided warm meals and even warmer smiles to families staying at RMHD while their children receive medical care nearby. The event was part of ISACA CommunITy Day, a global movement where chapters like ISACA North Texas give back through local service projects.

A big shoutout to everyone who came out to the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas to prepare and serve.  Your time, energy, and heart made a real difference for families going through tough times.

📢 Stay tuned for more ways to get involved with ISACA North Texas and show what community looks like in action.
