Welcome to Rwanda Chapter
Our Chapter has over 40 members and is one of over 223 global chapters; consisting of Risk, Assurance, Governance and Security professionals.
ISACA Rwanda Chapter was approved by ISACA HQ in February 2020.Currently the chapter has more than 40 active members and more than 50 other potential upcoming active members. The chapter is leaded by a committed team of volunteer directors that strives to increase the value that members see in the chapter activities.
Rwanda Chapter has increased collaboration with fellow industry associations; such Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda-ICPAR and Institute of Internal Auditors of Rwanda-IIAR. We will further be strengthening these relationships and aim to develop more such collaborations with other membership-based associations. This will provide many opportunities for our members, enhancing their professional knowledge, in order to implement good practices.
Our chapter is focused on educational outreach and the needs of individuals joining the IS audit, cybersecurity, risk management, and privacy professions. Chapter events will be designed to facilitate ongoing knowledge of ISACA’s core subject domains, and to support the advancement of the COBIT framework. In addition, events to acquire knowledge on the trending issues and technologies will be organized.
Visitors to our chapter benefit from the diverse backgrounds of our members, and their willingness to advance the profession. We also encourage organizations looking to recruit, to promote their vacancies on our chapter website. Similarly, our chapter will assist members that are between positions in finding new opportunities; both services for a nominal fee.
As an all-volunteer organization, we always welcome the support of our members. Members looking to take on leadership roles and give back to the profession are invited to inquire about joining the Rwanda Chapter’s activities.
