About Our ISACA Chapter

ISACA SCOTLAND CHAPTER LIMITED (SC607083).

The ISACA® Scottish chapter was formed in March 2002 to provide ISACA® members living and/or working in Scotland with the opportunity to network with fellow professionals. We also provide training and professional development opportunities in Scotland.  Membership now stands at over 400 members. Our members come from both the public and private sectors, and include professionals and practitioners at all levels in Audit (both IT and business), Information Security, Risk and Compliance, IT Governance and IT.

Chapter Objectives

  1. To promote the education and help expand the knowledge and skills of members in the fields of IT audit, control, security and IT Governance.
  2. To provide a forum in Scotland where members can meet and learn from one another.
  3. To promote adequate communication with members to keep them abreast of events in the IT governance, security, audit and control areas.
  4. To communicate to management, auditors, universities and to IT professionals the importance of establishing good IT governance to ensure the effective organisation and utilisation of IT resources.

Message From the President...

Over the past few years, our chapter has seen success across the board. Our
networking events in Edinburgh and Glasgow have brought professionals together to
connect, learn, and inspire one another. Meanwhile, our LinkedIn community
continues to grow steadily.

At the heart of ISACA’s mission is providing education and training that is directly
relevant to our members’ professional needs. The launch of multiple new courses
reflects the growing demand for future-ready skills. Whether you're a seasoned
expert or just starting out, you'll find valuable opportunities here.

We’ve placed a renewed emphasis on skill-building and career development, forging
partnerships with universities to open up new pathways for students and emerging
professionals.

We’re also deepening our engagement with industry and focus groups, building
collaborations that allow us to shape the future of our profession together.
We always welcome volunteers who are passionate about growing and supporting
our professional community.

As we look ahead, let’s continue to learn, connect, and have meaningful
conversations that strengthen our community.

Warm regards
Tayyab Choudhry
