Technology risk management is becoming an increasingly important discipline for organisations – many businesses are interwoven with technology systems and software that enhance business productivity, but also increases susceptibility to technological risks. Recent high-profile attacks have targeted the financial industry, and have emerged as one of the top-priority issues for management to address.

Wendy is currently a Director in the Cyber Security practice in KPMG Singapore. She has 13+ years of experience in Third Party/Outsourcing Risk Management, Operational & IT Governance/Risk Management, Business/Cyber Resilience and IT Assurance.
At KPMG Singapore, Wendy is the Service Line Lead for Cyber Laws & Regulations, Technology Risk Management and Third-Party Cyber/Outsourcing Risk Management services and supports clients with Technology & 3rd Party risk management and regulatory compliance needs.
Wendy has in-depth experience in leading and managing engagements that focus on providing clients with IT risk management, IT regulatory advisory support, IT regulatory compliance reviews and 3rd Party risk consulting and independent assessments. She has also assisted clients in interpreting APAC Financial Services Technology, Data Protection and Third-Party Risk regulations.
Wendy has also conducted several industry briefing sessions to various Financial Institutions and Outsourced Service Providers on key updates as well as the potential impacts of the MAS Technology Risk Management Notices and Guidelines, MAS Outsourcing Notice and Guidelines, and ABS OSPAR Guidelines.
