About Our ISACA Chapter

Welcome to the official website of the ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter, a local chapter of the global association of IS security and governance professionals. Our aim is to promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control, and security profession throughout the area by sponsoring local educational seminars and workshops, and conducting regular chapter meetings.

ISACA is a worldwide association that focuses on assurance, security, and governance, and provides globally recognized certifications in assurance (Certified Information Systems Auditor), security (Certified Information Security Manager), and governance (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT). The association is comprised of individual members who are often the sole practitioner of information systems auditing, security, and/or governance in their companies.

The membership of ISACA reflects a diversity of backgrounds and skills that make the information systems governance field challenging and dynamic. The Sri Lanka Chapter of ISACA has been in existence since 1996 and currently has over 250 members in Sri Lanka. Our chapter is committed to serving its members and has been recognized for its excellence in the past with the K Wayne Snipes Award for the Best Medium Sized Chapter in Asia for 2016, 2013, and 2009, as well as an honorable mention for the year 2015.

In addition to our commitment to excellence, we are also proud to have won the "Outstanding Chapter Achievement Award" in 2022 and the "Innovative Chapter Program Award" in 2023 among more than 200 chapters globally.

The ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter has several subcommittees, including the Education & Training Subcommittee, Marketing & Branding Subcommittee, Membership Subcommittee, Programs Subcommittee, and Finance Committee. Each subcommittee has its own set of objectives and annual events that are designed to enhance the membership experience and promote the profession.

We invite you to explore our website to learn more about ISACA, our chapter, and the benefits of membership. We also welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have to help us better serve our members and the profession.
