Mahendiran Prashanthan

Mahendiran Prashanthan is the current President of ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter (2021-2023) and AGM of Global IT Operations at LOLC Technologies Limited. With a Master's in Business Administration and various professional certifications such as CISA, ISO9001 Lead Auditor, and Microsoft Certified Professional, he has held multiple positions within ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter, including Vice President, Treasurer, Membership Director, and CISA Coordinator. Additionally, Prashanthan is a Chartered Accountant of Sri Lanka examiner and moderator, an ISACA Review Class tutor, and a visiting lecturer at private IT institutes and the Chartered Institute Sri Lanka.

Lakmal Embuldeniya

Lakmal Embuldeniya is an accomplished ICT professional with over 20 years of experience in various roles, including project management, technical support, and customer care in both private and public sectors. Currently serving as the incumbent President of the Information Security Audit & Control Association (ISACA) and the President-elect of FITIS Professional Chapter, Lakmal has made significant contributions to the field since founding the Curtin University Sri Lanka Alumni and joining the NBQSA Committee in 2012. His expertise lies in business applications, process automation, and digital transformation, and he has helped many organizations achieve their digitization goals through consultation services and delivering mature products. He holds a degree in Computer Systems & Networking from Curtin University, Western Australia, and a 2nd Class Special Honors in Information Technology from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). Additionally, he is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a trained lead and internal auditor for ISO 27001:2013. Lakmal has also led significant projects during his tenure at the Information and Communication Agency (ICTA) Sri Lanka, such as the Free/Public Wi-Fi Movement, National Data Center initiative, and Electronic Document Attestation System at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is a visiting lecturer for various ICT-related subjects, demonstrating his eagerness to stay up to date with the latest developments in the field.

Sithira Wanniarachchi

Sithira Wanniarachchi's exceptional leadership skills and dedication to ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter have yielded outstanding results. During his tenure as the President, the chapter was awarded the "Outstanding Chapter" Award in 2022 at the ISACA Awards Gala, recognizing the remarkable progress made under his guidance. Furthermore, he received the prestigious "Outstanding Chapter Leader Award" in the same year for his unwavering commitment to uplifting the chapter and its members. These achievements are a testament to Sithira's outstanding leadership and vision for the organization.

Kumar Manthri

Kumar Manthri is an experienced professional with over 13 years of expertise in GRC, including internal audit, cybersecurity management, vendor risk assessment, and implementing integrated risk compliance frameworks. He has played various roles during his 19-year tenure at SJMS Associates, an affiliate of Deloitte, including Assistant Manager, IS Auditor, Manager, Senior Manager, and presently Associate Director, Risk Advisory. Kumar has also assisted organizations in implementing privacy controls to protect data subject rights, conducted GDPR gap assessments, and implemented data governance frameworks.

Parakum Pathirana, PhD

Parakum Pathirana, PhD, is the COO of LOLC Technology Services and the CISO of LOLC Holdings, where he has been working since April 2021. He is also the co-founder of iPay, a digital merchant platform that facilitates secure transactions. Dr. Pathirana has over 20 years of experience in information security and technology management in multinational corporations in the banking and financial service industry across Asia and the United Kingdom. Additionally, he is the Vice President and an Executive Council member of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka, where he has served in various roles since 2015.

Muthusamy Asokan

Mr. Muthusamy Asokan is a seasoned professional with 30+ years of experience. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant, and holds certifications in internal audit and information systems auditing. He served as Head of Internal Audit at Hatton National Bank and worked on operational risk at Saudi British Bank in Riyadh. Mr. Asokan was instrumental in forming the ISACA Sri Lanka chapter and was the founder President of the Institute of Internal Auditors Sri Lanka Chapter. He also served as the Past President of ISACA Sri Lanka from 2012 to 2015.

Kamal Wickramanayake

Kamal Wickramanayake is an accomplished software architect with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He provides consultancy and training services to software developers and helps streamline software development processes. Kamal is familiar with IT governance processes and is a certified TOGAF 8 practitioner. He has served as the President of the ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter and has worked with the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka. Kamal is skilled in customizing and deploying Linux-based operating systems in enterprise environments.

Samanthi Sudurikku

Samanthi Sudurikku is the Manager Technology Audit at DP World, with over 14 years of experience in IT Risk Management, Governance, Assurance, and Security domains. She has exposure to both global and local companies in various industries, including Logistics, Telecommunications, Banking & Finance, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and Hospitality. She is recognized for her expertise in managing reviews in IT Governance, Security, IT Infrastructure, and Application Controls. Samanthi is an excellent communicator and has people management skills, able to work seamlessly across all levels with internal stakeholders, senior management, consultants, and business partners.

Amitha Munasinghe

Amitha Munasinghe is a well-experienced Information Security Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He has held various positions in different organizations, including Head of Information Systems Audit at Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC for 15 years. Amitha is also a Senior Consultant at ResiliengSL (Pvt) Ltd and a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka (ICASL) for the Diploma in Information Security Control and Audit (DISSCA) program. He is a certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from the USA and has expertise in business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and forensic and fraud investigations.

Mrs. Sharmini Wickremasekera

Sharmini is a highly accomplished professional who has gained extensive experience in various aspects of auditing and risk management. She was the first female president of ISACA from 2007 to 2009. She has been responsible for the Internal Auditing, Information Systems Auditing, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management and Fraud Management processes of LOLC Group of Companies. She has a specialty in leadership skills and is skilled in implementing Good Governance & Risk Management processes. With her ability to reach excellence in Projects lead and varied exposure covering all processes of a Group of Companies, she is a valuable asset to any organization.

Mr. Lionel Jayasinghe

Lionel Jayasinghe is an accomplished Information Technology professional with over 35 years of experience in IT Governance, IT Audit, IT Security, and Project Management. As a certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and past president of ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter, he has managed national-level IT projects and has a proven track record in formulating and implementing IT strategies that deliver business benefits. Currently serving as a board member of HDFC bank Sri Lanka, Jayasinghe provides consulting services to organizations in areas such as IT governance, compliance, and audits. He also facilitates training and workshops on Project Management, QMS, IT processes, and software reviews.

Mr. S. D. N. Perera

S.D.N. Perera is a seasoned banking professional and currently serves as the General Manager/CEO of National Savings Bank since 2015. With nearly three decades of experience in various functional areas of NSB, he holds a B.Com Special Degree and a Diploma in Bank Management, as well as a certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) of USA. He was also the President of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association of the USA Chapter and has been presenting papers on various disciplines. He was ISACA Sri Lanka President from 2005-2006 and a Director of "Rajarata Sanwardana Bank" and "Regional Development Bank" for over a decade.

Mr. Kanishka Sugathadasa

Mr. Kanishka Sugathadasa (B.Sc.(Hons), M.A.S, ACMA, CGMA, CISA, FCSSL, PGDip) is an experienced IT consultant with a wealth of knowledge in IT governance, risk management, and project management. He is the managing director of IT Advisors (Private) Limited, where he has guided various organizations to effectively use IT in industries such as healthcare, banking, manufacturing, and education. Mr. Sugathadasa is also a certified Information Systems Auditor and an associate member of the Business Continuity Institute, UK. Apart from IT consulting, he runs a software development company and is involved in tea estate and property development.

Mr. Supramaniyam Nadarajah

Mr. Nadarajah is a retired banker who served the Bank of Ceylon for 33 years, including 7 years in the Internal Audit Department and a term as Assistant General Manager of the Card Centre and Eastern Province. He has also held the prestigious position of ISACA Past President from 2002-2004. With his extensive experience in the banking industry and leadership within ISACA, Mr. Nadarajah has contributed significantly to the development of the profession and the organization.

Mr. M. W. D. Ariyasena

Mr. M.W.D. Ariyasena is a highly qualified accountant with more than 30 years of industry experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a specialization and is an associate member of AAT Sri Lanka, as well as a founding member of the CMA Sri Lanka. Mr. Ariyasena has obtained the prestigious ACA qualification and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He is a partner at AGS Associates and has a strong track record of delivering high-quality services to clients. With his wealth of knowledge and expertise, Mr. Ariyasena is highly respected in the accounting and auditing profession in Sri Lanka.
