The MITRE ATT&CK framework and Initial Access

Initial Access represents the first foothold that threat actors (or attackers) gain within a target organisation. In today's digital world, attackers continuously refine their techniques and develop new ways to breach defences. In this talk, we will explore various initial access methodologies from an attacker's perspective, describing how these techniques are executed in real-world scenarios. We will use the MITRE ATT&CK framework to cover different methods used for initial access, and provide both practical examples and technical insights into malware delivery. This session will enhance your understanding of initial access and increase your awareness of threat strategies.
