What's New

It’s that time of year again where we invite local ISACA-Austin members to get involved and pay it forward to our professional community. Volunteering is also a great way to gain valuable experience and even earn CPE credits while you do it! We encourage all members to consider volunteering in some capacity, whether it is a one-time engagement, a year-long role on a committee, or serving on the Board of Directors. For more information on ISACA’s philosophy on volunteer engagement, please see https://engage.isaca.org/volunteeropportunities/about.

Committees

We currently are seeking volunteers to participate in any one of our committees that have openings. Each committee will have an agenda and projects to complete that support our Chapter and help sustain it for future members to come. Each committee will have one Chairperson who reports directly to the Board and up to five members. To ensure we are mindful of all our volunteers’ time, each Chairperson will identify committee member(s) to engage in certain activities and/or perform specific tasks as needed, which will be assigned based on each members’ capacity and availability. Therefore, each committee member can manage his or her time and commitment more easily and without undue hardship.

Here is a list of the current committees:

  • Academic Relations
  • Audit
  • Bylaws
  • Certification
  • Education
  • Long-Range Planning
  • Membership
  • Nominations (Elections – only February through May)

Welcome to the Austin Chapter of ISACA!

We Need Your Feedback
