The Nominating Committee (“Committee”) of the ISACA Calgary Chapter Board of Directors (“Board”) calls for members to submit names of candidates to serve on the Board for the remainder of the current term, which ends in January 2022.
A number of Director positions on the Board have recently been declared vacant following consultations with ISACA Headquarters regarding clarification of key sections of The Chapter Bylaws. As a result, the Committee is seeking qualified candidates to play a role in the stewardship of an organization in transition to a new culture that reflects values such as engagement, transparency, accountability, and other attributes representing leading edge governance.
BOARD COMPOSITION
The ISACA Calgary Board of Directors consists of 11 Directors, including a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and seven (7) elected Directors.
The current call for nominations is for the following Board positions:
- Communications Director
- Membership Director
- Certification Director
- IT Governance Director
- Academic Relations Director
- Director at Large
Qualified candidates will have the skill-set, expertise, and experience necessary to support the Board in achieving its operational objectives.
Any Chapter member in good standing interested in being considered as a candidate for any of the above-listed vacant positions is required to send their name, contact information and a short bio to membership@isaca-calgary.org by 11:59 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021. The Committee will review all nominations received by the closing date and present all qualified candidates for election by the Board. Final results will be communicated to Chapter members within one week of the closing date.
Important: All 11 Director positions will be open to interested candidates for election at the 2021 Annual General Meeting to be announced at a later date.
