Speaker Bio:
Timothy is a Partner with Formos Consulting, LLC and specializes in the area of IT Risk and Compliance. In this capacity, he leads one of the largest IT Risk and Compliance practices in Middle Tennessee that works with many of the largest public and private companies in the area. He and his team have a wide array of experience and expertise in areas such as IT Audit Planning and Execution, IT Risk Assessment, IT Risk Management, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, Systems Implementation, Business Continuity, and many others. Their success comes from a commitment to building long-term partnerships with their clients that includes helping them navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance, reduce overall organizational risk, and improve critical processes.
Timothy is a native of Lebanon, Tennessee and received his B.S. in Computer Information Systems from David Lipscomb University in 1996. Outside of his time with Formos, Timothy has many years of experience in IT Administration. He previously served as Director of Information Services for Saint Thomas Cardiology Consultants and the Director of Information Systems for Gospel Advocate Company. Timothy has served on the board of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of ISACA for the past 10 years.
