With Cloud Fundamentals, you’ll learn how to assess risks, ensure security, implement effective governance of services and providers, and optimize potential in the cloud.

Thanks to the universality of wireless networks, uses for the IoT are endlessly growing -- boosting demand for IT professionals that understand its implications. With IoT Fundamentals, you’ll learn how to assess the risks, governance, control settings and outside security threats accompanying this evolving technology.

  • Blockchain Fundamentals:

Demand for IT professionals skilled in blockchain is rising due to its enterprise market value’s growth expected to reach $19.9 Billion by 2025. With Blockchain Fundamentals, you’ll learn what’s essential to show an understanding of what is considered the most significant technological innovation since the internet.

AI focuses on building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require humans and is drastically increasing in demand as it continues to change the future of virtually every field of technology. With AI Fundamentals, you’ll learn how understanding AI’s risks and potential can fast-track your career.


Instructors: 

James Arnold, CISA, CDPSE, CRISC
James Arnold is a certified ISACA instructor who has spent 20+ years as a Data Governance, Privacy, and Security expert within the military, government, and civilian sectors.

At CVS Health, he leads Data Privacy and Security within the Enterprise Data & AI Governance Team. At MUFG (Mitsubishi Financial Global), he led Data Privacy and Security efforts within a Global Core Platform Transformation Team, led various enterprise-wide regulatory issue remediation workstreams, and implemented Secure by Design and Privacy by Design. Through international organizations, he published several white papers pertaining to Data Governance, Risk, Blockchain, Art. 30 Reporting, International Data Privacy Law (and their extraterritorial jurisdictional impacts). He has worked all three lines of defense within various financial services organizations. Before that role, James worked in various operational positions, including leading efforts to upgrade Emblem Health's systems from ICD-09 to ICD-10 processing. Prior to public sector work, James served in the U.S. Army. James holds and prepares students for several advanced certifications, such as CISA, CDPSE, CRISC, and many others, along with Master's and Bachelor’s degrees in the fields of Policy from Stony Brook University. James currently serves as VP of Certifications for the ISACA North Texas Chapter.

Vince Arnold, CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CISSP, PMP and CCSK
Vince's 25-year career in cybersecurity and IT leadership includes holding pivotal global roles at HPE, Baker Hughes, Dell, and St. Jude Medical (Abbott). He currently teaches Cybersecurity at Texas A&M University’s Cybersecurity Center in College Station, is a certified ISACA instructor and is a Senior Consultant and Program Instructor for ISACA Foundation's Workforce Inclusion Program. Vince also volunteers as the VP, of Academic Relations for ISACA North Texas, Division Leader/Section Division Liaison for the Smart Manufacturing and Industrial IoT Division of the International Society of Automation and as an advisory board member for the Texas A&M University-Commerce College of Business and the University of Texas-Arlington Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering. Vince has an MBA in Information Security from James Madison University and holds the CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CISSP, PMP and CCSK certifications, among others.
