  • Help plan out engaging events
  • Finding and vetting potential speakers for events
  • Help with setup, registration check-in, and closing events

Columbus Security Series Committee

  • Identify topics for Columbus Events
  • Recruit speakers for events
  • Educate the community on the values of ISACA
  • Invite community leaders to participate in Columbus events
  • Coordinate with volunteers to meet the needs of Columbus activities
  • Coordinate logistics for events
  • Develop marketing outreach to local security/audit leaders

Corporate Relations Committee

  • Works in conjunction with the President to develop lasting relationships with local corporations in order to increase the awareness of ISACA and its mission to promote the IT governance IS audit and control, quality assurance, and security fields
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all vendor solicitations and identifications and recruitment of corporate sponsors
  • Is responsible for ensuring that vendor requirements and needs are incorporated into Chapter event planning. 

Community Partner Committee

  • Represent ISACA Atlanta at Community Partner Conferences and Events.
  • Includes managing a booth, handing out materials, answering questions about ISACA Atlanta.

Geek Week Committee

  • Vetting potential speakers for Geek Week.
  • Processing Sponsor requests and agreements.
  • Working at the event as a Room Monitor. 
  • Working at the event as a Room Scanner.
  • Working at the event at the Registration Desk.
  • Includes managing a booth, handing out materials, answering questions about ISACA Atlanta.

Brief Bio: Dr Carver is a skilled Technology strategist with 20+ years of experience leading multi-functional teams and global clients through large-scale Information Security, Enterprise Risk, and Regulatory Compliance initiatives. She has managed strategic portfolios ($500MM) driving transformational change to promote robust risk governance and cyber security standards for organizations across diverse industries, including, but not limited to, the finance, healthcare, and IT consulting domains. In addition to multiple IT certifications, she holds a PhD (Industrial / Organizational Psychology), an MSc (Finance), and an MBA (Marketing).

Brief Bio: Susan has 15 years of experience in IT Audit, Cyber Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance. My passion is to implement automaton of continuous auditing techniques one day in the future. In her free time, she likes to go trekking, cooking and riding bikes. She loves spending time with her son. Susan completed her masters in accounting from Walden university and her bachelors in computer science in India.
