Brent Ball is a visionary CISO and digital trust leader with 20+ years of experience driving innovation and resilience in Fortune 100 organizations. Known for creating risk-based, data-driven programs, Brent enhances business outcomes by elevating cybersecurity as a strategic enabler. His expertise includes governance, architecture, and operations, with a focus on streamlining operations and cost while maturing controls to prevent loss and disruption. Brent holds a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Eastern Michigan University, is a graduate of the CISO Institute at the University of Chicago, and is a frequent lecturer and advisor to leading cybersecurity firms.

Currently serving as Vice President of Information Security at Addison Group, he has successfully designed and implemented comprehensive security frameworks that align IT strategy with business objectives, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and supporting rapid company growth. His expertise lies in translating complex security needs into actionable business strategies, driving cross-functional collaboration, and building high-performing teams. He excels in creating a security-first culture, improving incident response times, and mitigating vulnerabilities across the enterprise—all while ensuring that the technology landscape fosters growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. He has a BA in Theater and an MBA from UIUC and has lead IT and IS teams in Healthcare, Finance, Media, Manufacturing, and not-for-profit markets in both the private, and public sectors.
