LUNCH & LEARN: "Soft Skills, Hard Impact: Fundamentals of Stakeholder Management for IT Auditors"

When:  Feb 27, 2026 from 12:00 to 13:30 (SG)
Associated with  Manila Chapter
This Lunch & Learn session explores how effective stakeholder management can significantly improve the quality, efficiency, and impact of IT audit engagements. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of key audit stakeholders and why each group plays a critical role in audit success. The session highlights what matters most to these stakeholders, the sources of common resistance, and how communication gaps can affect audit outcomes. Practical techniques will be shared to help auditors frame risks in business terms, manage difficult conversations, and build cooperation without compromising independence. By the end of the session, attendees will be better equipped to position themselves as trusted partners rather than fault-finders. This approach supports stronger remediation, improved governance, and more meaningful audit results. The content is designed for entry-level to intermediate IT auditors seeking to strengthen both technical influence and professional credibility.
