The Northeast Ohio ISACA Chapter

The Northeast Ohio (NEO) ISACA Chapter is ISACA's 26th chapter and was formed on June 19, 1978.  At that time the organization was known as the EDP Auditors Association, having formed in Los Angeles in 1969.  Chicago became the site of ISACA's 2nd chapter in 1972 and is now the global headquarters for ISACA.  The year our chapter was formed also marked the birth of ISACA's CISA certification program, although the first exam would not occur until 1981.  ISACA now has 225 chapters in 98 countries. 

Currently our chapter is made up of approximately 651 members with the majority of members holding at least one ISACA certification among many other certifications.  Members with ISACA certifications currently:

• CDPSE - 34
• CGEIT - 15
• CISA - 373
• CISM - 104
• CRISC - 74
• CSX Practitioner - 1
• Implementing the NIST Cybersecurity Framework using COBIT - 1
• Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals - 1

The chapter holds monthly meetings from September through May and participates in or sponsors other activities that benefit our members.
