  • CPE State of Cyber Security Sweden 2025

We have received the list of participants from Heliview, and some members have not been registered. Please reach out to us with any type of proof you've been there (a CC from a colleague, a picture or whatnot), and we will register the CPE (on behalf of) for you.

Most of you I saw in person, so I can vouch for your participation.

The CPE has been counted conservatively based on ISACA standards, removing breaks, networking etc. but full participation.

  • Preliminary dates for AGM + Spring Conference

As both members, partners and sponsors are asking us, we are hereby announcing the preliminary dates for our yearly events. We are currently confirming the date with speakers and establishments, and soon we will even begin registration and (super) early bird!

You can find the preliminary dates of the events in our event calendar. As per usual, you will receive an invite inside Engage, as well as by email, as soon as we are able to confirm the establishments.

  • Feedback, CPE & Media Uploads

Update 2025-12-05: CPE has been queued for upload tomorrow. Participants who signed up will receive their CPE registered at the latest Sunday evening when the system is done processing.

Update 2025-12-03: Presentations have been uploaded and can be found after logging in under member library/medlemsbibliotek (here)

Sorry for the quick and dirty status update; due to hospitalisation on my end, lead-times are a bit longer than I had hoped for, but I promise to upload the presentation materials and video materials that have been approved by the speakers "soon", but don't expect them before the 10th of December.

We will soon send out a feedback request for the event, as well as a request to confirm you were present during the event. Based on your honesty (and random picking from the list) I will upload the full CPE.

Gamze and I (and the rest of ISACA Sweden Chapter) thank you for your participation in the conference and a warm thank you goes out to our Sponsor for the event - Stratsys - as well as the speakers!

  • Collaboration with Heliview for CPE!

ISACA Sweden Chapter is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Heliview Conferences & Training. Through this partnership, our members will benefit from automatic CPE registration when attending Heliview’s cybersecurity events and talks. It will now be easier for our members to stay certified while engaging with Sweden’s leading cybersecurity community.

We will also have sponsored activities and a presence at upcoming events, starting with State of Cyber Security Sweden 2025 on 2 December at 7A Posthuset, Stockholm.

Members can simply inform the Heliview team during the event that they wish to receive CPEs, and ISACA Sweden Chapter will handle the registration automatically. Simple, secure, and privacy/member friendly.

  • CPE Multi-Chapter Event

CPE certificates have now been uploaded for all participants. If you have not received 2 of the 3 expected CPEs, please let us know so we can verify your eligibility based on the attendance logs.

    • The presentation by Ramses is available in the document library.
    • The global ISACA AGM (worth 1 CPE) is managed separately and not monitored by us.

CPEs have been uploaded based on the attendee list. If your name included your SE membership number (SExxxxx), your CPE was uploaded automatically. If it was missing or incorrect, or if you haven’t received your certificate, just reach out.

We don't have a list of people signed-up to the virtual AGM, we can add a CPE for you if you reach out and we will upload this for you manually - IF - you participated in the Pre/Post event.

  • Introducing the CISA Associate™

The Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) credential has long stood as a gold standard in IT audit, risk, and control. But what happens if you've passed the rigorous CISA exam yet haven’t accumulated the five years of required work experience?

    Until now, you waited...

Now, thanks to ISACA’s new CISA Associate™ designation, those who’ve passed the CISA exam can formally demonstrate their knowledge and commitment, even before completing the professional experience requirement.

    What is the CISA Associate?

The CISA Associate is a newly launched designation for professionals who have passed the CISA exam but have not yet met the experiential requirements for full certification. It fills an important gap: allowing emerging professionals, recent graduates, and career changers to gain formal recognition early in their careers.

This isn’t a watered-down version of CISA. It’s a statement that says: “I’ve proven my knowledge and I’m actively building my experience.”

    Why It Matters

In a world where credentials shape first impressions, the CISA Associate lets you:

    • Showcase your achievement to employers, recruiters, and clients
    • Differentiate yourself in competitive hiring processes, particularly for entry-level roles in IT audit, risk, and compliance
    • Accelerate your career trajectory by maintaining momentum after exam success

In fact, ISACA Global notes that 92% of hiring managers see the CISA Associate as a valuable indicator of professional readiness.

    What’s Required?

    The process is refreshingly straightforward:

    1. Pass the CISA Exam (valid for 5 years)
    2. Hold an active ISACA membership
    3. Submit a one-time $25 application fee

No CPEs are required while you're an Associate, and the designation is valid for up to four years, providing ample time to gain the required experience for full CISA certification.

A Seamless Path to Full Certification

Once you’ve fulfilled the work experience requirements (typically five years, with potential waivers for education or teaching), upgrading to full CISA status is a streamlined process. You’ve already done the heavy lifting by passing the exam. This designation gives you the recognition you deserve in the meantime.

    Who Should Apply?

    • Students or recent graduates who have passed the CISA exam
    • Professionals transitioning into audit or assurance roles
    • International candidates awaiting local employment opportunities
    • Career changers gaining relevant hands-on experience

    Get Recognition Today

Certifications are more than just letters after a name, they’re markers of trust, competence, and dedication. The CISA Associate allows aspiring auditors and governance professionals to showcase all three, well before they cross the five-year experience threshold.

If you’ve passed the CISA exam, don’t let that achievement sit idle. Apply for the CISA Associate and start being recognised today.
