Active Directory (AD) is the backbone of identity, access control, and user management in most organizations and, at the same time, one of the most frequent targets of cyberattacks. Due to its central role in IT environments, an AD compromise almost always results in a full compromise of the organization’s systems.
This session will offer a practical and actionable overview of the key security aspects of AD: from common configuration weaknesses commonly exploited by attackers, to typical attack techniques and indicators of compromise, as well as guidance for assessing AD security and conducting an effective AD audit. The presentation will also highlight best practices that help organizations strengthen AD resilience and reduce exposure to modern threats.
The lecture will be delivered by Milorad Jović, CISA, an experienced professional in IT audit, IT controls, and information risk management. He currently serves as a Senior IT Audit Manager at STADA Group, where he leads technology and security-focused audit engagements. As a Board Member and former President of the ISACA Belgrade Chapter, he actively contributes to the development of the IT audit profession through expert lectures, education, and mentoring.
Participation is free of charge.
The session will be held in Serbian.
Certificate holders will earn 1 CPE credit for attending.
