Jon Brandt is Director of Professional Practices and Innovation in ISACA’s Content Development and Services department. In this role, he leads audit, emerging technology, information technology, information security, privacy, and risk thought leadership initiatives relevant to ISACA’s constituents. He serves ISACA® departments as a subject matter expert on information security, spearheads innovative workforce readiness solutions and related performance assessments. Brandt is a highly accomplished US Navy veteran with nearly 30 years of experience spanning multidisciplinary security, cyberoperations and technical workforce development. Formal education includes an MSED in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and BS in Cybersecurity from Champlain College.

John Flanagan is a Senior Product Manager at ISACA. In his 4 and a half years at ISACA, John has managed ISACA’s Nexus platform and CSX-P Certification. His product development background was a valuable asset in the creation of ISACA’s new AAIA program. Today, his product portfolio features the CCOA certification, Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Cybersecurity Audit, Cybersecurity Learning and CCAK. Prior to ISACA, John spent four years working in the data center field as a product manager and managed a variety of fiber cable product lines. A graduate of Lewis University with a B.A. in business management and an MBA with a focus in international marketing, he is an avid gamer and resides in the Chicagoland area.
