Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is an AMA?

AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions are an opportunity for you to get to know a professional on a deeper level. Utilize the session to ask about their career path, personal growth & journey, an future goals. As the title suggests, no question is off topic!

Q: Are there different types of AMA's?

ISACA offers two AMA formats: Online discussion threads hosted on Engage & live sessions hosted on Zoom. Online discussion thread AMA's typically span a week, and any user with a free ISACA account can log in and participate in the thread. Users must also join the respective Engage community in order to post within the discussion thread. The AMA host may not respond to questions posted after the event has ended. Live AMA sessions hosted on Zoom may be restricted to ISACA members only depending on the session host, and members must register in advance in order to attend.

Q: Where can I submit my questions?

For online discussion thread AMA's, you can post your question by replying directly to the AMA thread.
