As part of ISACA London Chapter's aim to assist our members to enhance their skill set, we are pleased to bring you the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Training Workshop. The CISM certification demonstrates your understanding of the relationship between an information security program and broader business goals and objectives. It distinguishes you as having not only information security expertise, but also knowledge and experience in the development and management of an information security program.
The training will be provided by an accredited ISACA Chapter Trainer. The advantage of this is that course materials are up-to-date so that there is better alignment between preparation and exam-taking. This allows candidates to get more out of their investment in training, resulting in more efficient preparation and reducing the need for re-examination and additional preparation. The course utilises the official ISACA CISM preparation course material, going through each of the four CISM Domains:
- Domain 1 - Information Security Governance
- Domain 2 - Information Risk Management and Compliance
- Domain 3 - Information Security Program Development and Management
- Domain 4 - Information Security Incident Management
We provide hints and tips on passing the exam throughout the four days, spotting the likely answer to questions etc. At the end of each Domain we go through some example exam questions, then on the last day, we do a mock half exam. This allows attendees to see where their strengths and weaknesses are in each Domain and where they need to do more revision.
