UPDATE 1:

The minimum attendee count has been reached, and thus the course will happen as planned. During the beginning of January, our Treasurer will get in touch with you with regards to payment.

NOTE: If you are not an ISACA Member, you may still become an ISACA member to save more than a €100 if you become a member today. More information will be sent to you with regards to this in the near future.

UPDATE 2:

The location of the course has now been confirmed as Building SCM01, Smart City Kalkara.

Traveling with your private vehicle:

Ample free private parking space is available for all commuters within Smart City visitors and employees. Bicycle, motorcycle parking and parking for visitors with accessibility issues is also available.

Getting there via public transport:

Route 3 passes through Smart City every 30 minutes. You can use the Public Transport Journey Planner, to organize your trip.

The ISACA Malta Chapter is organising a CRISC Review Course over 5-days, between the 21st and 25th January 2019.

Course Structure
CRISC Description

The CRISC Review Course is an instructor-led course that will teach you core IT risk management techniques that will lead you towards obtaining the CRISC certification exam, using proven instructional design techniques and interactive activities. The course covers all four of the CRISC domains, and incorporates study materials, case study activities, and pre- and post-course assessments.

Trained by ISACA Malta Chapter. Certified by ISACA.

Dates Monday, 21st to Friday, 25th January 2019 (8am – 5pm)
Venue Smart City, Kalkara
Included Course materials & literature, coffee and lunch break.

The Trainer

Mark Fenech, CISA®, CRISC®, COBIT:Foundation, CSX:Fundamentals

mark.pngWith over 20 years of experience in the IT and Financial Services industry, Mark Fenech heads the IT Audit Team within a local bank. Ranging from technical, less technical and outright non-technical domains, Mark’s skills extend across multiple disciplines required within IT Auditing, IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity and other various IT Management Processes.

Mark is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, ISACA), Certified in Risk and Information System Controls (CRISC, ISACA), holds certifications in Cybersecurity (CSX, ISACA) and in the Governance and Management Framework for Enterprise IT (COBIT, ISACA), is a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), holds a Teacher’s Warrant from the Council for the Teaching Profession, and is also a Competent Communicator (CC, Toastmasters International). In addition, Mark holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Malta, and an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management. He is also a seasoned Public Speaker and speaks frequently on a variety of topics for educational purposes and for raising awareness within different entities.
