The Data Privacy Special Interest Group (“DP SIG”) is established by the ISACA Singapore Chapter with the following key objectives:
1. Develop and contribute to the development of guidelines and best practices in the area of data privacy.
2. Increase awareness of data privacy best practices amongst the ISACA Singapore chapter members and wider industry.
3. Strengthen ISACA Singapore Chapter's position and role as the leader in data privacy governance, risk and compliance matters; as well as the link between industry and regulatory bodies.
Engagement with Data Protection Authorities
The DP SIG has been participating in the regulatory industry feedback with the Personal Data Protection Commission, Singapore as well as the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Privacy Engineering Conference 2023
The DP SIG is working with IAPP Singapore KnowledgeNet to organize a joint Privacy Engineering event on 15 May 2023. For more details, please refer to the link.
