Description:

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of the Personnel Security policy. The group’s deliverable will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the policy’s content as well as assessment of whether the high-level statements in the policy are comprehensive and aligned with current best practices.

Anticipated outcomes:

The volunteers will support the delivery of the Policy Template – Personnel Security by reviewing a draft audit program for:

  • Technical accuracy;
  • Missing key policy statements; and
  • Alignment with current policy best practices 

It is expected that the draft document will be available for review by 13 November 2023. The timeline may be modified, however, depending on ISACA’s production schedule.

Volunteer Criteria (required):

·   Knowledge of the key elements of a best practice Personnel Security policy

·   Practical experience in reviewing and consulting in Personnel Security policy development

·   CISA certification

Volunteer Criteria (preferred):

·   Information Technology Certification(s) (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CSX-P, CISSP, CEH, GSEC, other)

·   Geographic area representation, preferred

Volunteer benefits:

·        Up to 3 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
