Description:

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of a white paper on the subject of IT risk assessment. The group’s deliverable will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the whitepaper’s content as well as assessment of whether the whitepaper is aligned with current best practices.

Anticipated outcomes:

The volunteers will support the delivery of a whitepaper on the topic of "How to Conduct an IT Risk Assessment" by reviewing a whitepaper (approximately 5,000 words) for:

  • Technical accuracy; and
  • Alignment with current best practices.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • ISACA membership not required
  • Looking for geographic diversity
  • Knowledge of IT Risk fundamentals
  • Knowledge of ISACA frameworks, products, certifications and services.
  • CRISC certification preferred
  • Experience performing an IT Risk assessment

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 3 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the review
