Description:

The CMMI Associate Working Group is designated to support ISACA’s CMMI Associate Certification program. Members of the Working Group are responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of the certification program and the exam content.

Anticipated Outcomes:

  • Support the exam development process, including:
    • Write CMMI Associate exam items (multiple-choice questions).
    • Review and approve exam items to be included in future exams.
  • All work is conducted confidentially and may not be shared or discussed outside the Working Group members and ISACA staff.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Members must already hold the CMMI Associate Certification.
  • Diverse member representation preferred to include geographical areas, industry, and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in two or more core domain areas required.
  • Fluency in English required for productive group discussion.

  • Email   
  • Phone   
  • In-person meeting(s) or Remote Meetings: Meeting attendance is required, typically 1 per year. If conditions are favorable to an in-person meeting, it will be held at or near ISACA headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, a suburb of Chicago (Expenses paid by ISACA). Otherwise, meetings will be held remotely via Teams.
  • The number of meetings and location could change based on business requirements. 
  • Tentative meeting date is planned for Thursday/Friday, 30 June-1 July 2022

Estimated Time Commitment:

  • 2 hours/month
  • Time commitment may vary and will increase in months associated with item writing campaigns and exam item review.
  • In-person and/or remote meetings are typically scheduled for 2 business days.

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 20 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the required tasks at the end of the term.
    • Working Group members will also receive CPEs based on the time spent during the face-to-face meeting on formal review of exam drafts and flagged items. Evidence of actual hours earned for the formal review process will be provided to Working Group members.
