ISACA is currently looking for volunteers to test and provide feedback on a risk and cybersecurity product proof of concept. The purpose of this testing is to help us narrow in on product and platform features that will better enable independent contributors or small teams to envision their big picture, where to focus for impact, and build confidence in their enterprise security through collaborative and contextual decision making.
Not all who apply will be selected to participate.
By applying, you are authorizing ISACA to share your name and email address with our research partner, Highland, to facilitate the sessions.
Timeline:
There are two ways to participate:
- 1:1 Interviews with ISACA staff, lasting approximately 60 minutes; conducted via Zoom with ISACA staff
- Unmoderated, product “impression tests,” lasting <15 minutes; conducted via a 3rd-party testing platform
All information for either participation remains confidential.
Interviews & tests will be scheduled between 21 March and 8 April, based on the availability of the ISACA staff interviewer and participant.
Disregard the start/end dates above as qualified applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and interviews will be scheduled through 8 April. Do not delay in applying as spots are limited.
Volunteer Criteria:
- A variety of “small team” representatives in one of the following categories:
- Independent contributors in a cyber or risk role in your workplace, i.e. “team of one” who has no staff or much help
- Consultants from small firms. Ideally, consultants who work with companies that have fewer than 250 employees.
- Individuals who work on a “small security team,” i.e. 3-5 people in companies with fewer than 5000 employees.
- Fluency in English for the interview
- ISACA membership or certifications not required
- Stable internet connection to support a video call or testing platform
- Availability between 21 March to 8 April for the interview
Volunteer benefits:
- A $100 (interview) or $25 (impression test) digital gift card offered by our research vendor to those who are selected AND complete the interview/test process.
- Opportunity to influence ISACA products and services to best meet your organization’s risk and cybersecurity needs in the future.
- No CPEs are issued for this opportunity.
All volunteers must have an ISACA Participation Agreement on file. To see if your agreement is active, visit your volunteer profile. Access all volunteer policies here.
