Description:

Accepted participants will engage in a 1 hour virtual interview with ISACA Global staff to help provide clarity around the onboarding and general working experiences of chapter leaders. 

TIMELINE: Disregard listed start date. Interviews will be scheduled upon acceptance and based on availability, between now and 16 February.

Anticipated Outcomes:

  • Interviews will give insight into chapter leader experiences in an effort to provide clearer, more relevant support from ISACA Global.
  • Insights gleaned will be used to determine any appropriate documentation that needs to be created to assist chapter leaders. 
  • Areas where research insights may be used:
    • Onboarding
    • Day to day processes
    • Documentation
    • Succession planning
    • Interchapter communications 

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Must be a current or past ISACA chapter leader
  • Hold a current ISACA Membership
  • Geographic representation needed
  • Ability to participate in a 1-hour virtual interview between 27 November and 16 February 2024
  • Stable internet connection to conduct interview
  • Ability to conduct interview in English (speaking/understanding)
  • Prior knowledge of or participation in onboarding new chapter leaders, or have transitioned roles within a chapter. 

Volunteer Benefits:  

  • Up to 1 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term 
  • Ability to contribute to future resources and aids to make serving as an ISACA chapter leader a more rewarding and seamless experience.
