Description:

The SheLeadsTech Advisory Group serves in a non-governing position as key thought leaders to help shape strategy and programming for the global SheLeadsTech initiative. The Advisory Group will participate in programming, outreach, and advocacy efforts in their regions as well.

Anticipated outcomes:

The SheLeadsTech Advisory Group supports the strategy and development of SheLeadsTech including:

  • Support, resource, and advise on strategic plan, development, and facilitation of various SLT initiatives including:
      • Ambassadors
      • Chapter Liaisons
      • Toolkits and Resources
      • SheLeadsTech Academy
      • Events and Activities
  • Lead ad hoc working groups as assigned
  • Participate in SheLeadsTech advocacy efforts as outlined by One In Tech and ISACA
  • Support local SheLeadsTech activities and engagement efforts
  • Review evaluation results as aggregated from SheLeadsTech activities and use lessons learned to inform next steps and opportunities in increasing the SheLeadsTech footprint
  • Commit to the global adoption and growth of SheLeadsTech

 

Volunteer Criteria:
*Please note that this volunteer opportunity is by invitation only, and all other applications will be closed.

  • Must be an ISACA Member
  • An understanding of and empathy for the challenges women in digital trust professions face throughout their careers.
  • Commitment to removing barriers to ensure all levels of digital trust are accessible to women.
    • Must sign-up for SheLeadsTech Engage online community 
    • Must complete volunteer and personal profiles on Engage
  • Knowledge of ISACA frameworks, products, certifications, and services.
  • Geographic area representation required.

        Volunteer Benefits:

        • Up to 20 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
