Join ISACA’s Social Media Advocates
Click apply above to be considered for ISACA's Social Media Advocates group and help distribute social media messaging related to ISACA and the IT field. Social Media Advocates are required to sign up for ISACA’s social media tool, Bambu, and to link their social media accounts to this tool for easy content sharing and tracking metrics. Advocates receive a weekly email from Bambu with ideas for social media posts and highlights from ISACA's recent activities. By sharing this content to your network, you help ISACA reach new audiences and carry on professional discussions.

This opportunity term is from the time of acceptance until the end of 2021. (Disregard date above.)

  • Chapter Social Media Advocates must have the approval of their Chapter President to sign up as a Chapter Advocate. They are required to link the chapter’s profiles to Bambu. Priority will be given when assigning Bambu licenses to chapter advocates.
  • Individual Social Media Advocates must link their personal/professional social media profiles and distribute content. Prior approval is not required.

Bambu licenses are limited; applications that arrive after all licenses have been administered will be put on a waitlist until spots open.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • ISACA membership is required.
  • To maximize your advocate experience, ISACA requests that you post 1-2 times per week with content that is relevant to your network.
  • At the end of each calendar year, active volunteers may be asked to reapply if they want to continue receiving the emails from Bambu and supporting social media activities.
  • Chapter advocates must be authorized by their Chapter President before applying.

Volunteer benefits:

  • Expand your global network and influence the entire professional community with relevant and thought-provoking material.
  • Initiate and carry on dialogues with colleagues related to areas of professional interest.
  • This opportunity does not offer CPE hours.

All volunteers must have an ISACA Participation Agreement on file. To see if your agreement is active, visit your volunteer profile. Access all volunteer policies here. Please carefully review ISACA's Social Media Policy.
