Description:

Successful candidates for this volunteer experience will be knowledgeable of the IT audit process (planning, fieldwork, reporting). They will also have technical knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) as related to auditing.

Preference is also given to those applicants who are familiar with ITAF.

Anticipated outcomes:
Volunteer reviewers will be asked to:

  • Review the whitepaper’s content for technical accuracy.
  • Use career experience to ensure that the whitepaper accurately reflects current audit practices as related to the use of AI and ML.
  • Use knowledge of audit and AI and ML to ensure that the whitepaper’s content is relevant to auditors.


Volunteer Criteria:

  • CISA certification required.
  • Have specific experience auditing IT controls.
  • Currently hold an audit or assurance position as an experienced senior auditor, a manager, or a director.
  • Possess knowledge of ISACA frameworks, products, certifications and services.
  • ISACA Membership not required.
  • Geographic area representation of volunteers desired in the volunteer pool.

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 4 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
  • Name listed in the published whitepaper as an Expert Reviewer.
