Description:

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of a cloud security white paper, with the use case of multi-cloud instances within an enterprise to further ISACA’s information security thought leadership portfolio. The group’s deliverables will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the paper as well as assessment of the value of the paper to ISACA’s thought leadership portfolio.

Anticipated outcomes:

The volunteers will support the delivery of the Multi-Cloud Security white paper by reviewing a draft for:

  • Technical accuracy; and
  • Depth of knowledge appropriate for those who must secure multiple cloud instances

Anticipated review dates are 13 July – 20 July 2020 but may be flexible depending on the final draft development schedule.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Knowledge of cloud security
  • Knowledge of enterprise needs to secure multiple instances of cloud usage from different cloud providers and in differing contexts
  • Knowledge of shadow IT and its use within organizations
  • Private and hybrid cloud deployments
  • PaaS and IaaS
  • Operational security challenges
  • Cloud strategy
  • ISACA Membership not required.

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 4 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
