Black Lives Matter: Our Commitment to Our Community
We stand together now and in the future to champion what is right and what matters to our community. There is no doubt the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others have affected our members and community in ways that are impossible to articulate through words on a page. It is our responsibility and privilege to raise our voice in solidarity with this movement and in support of our members who are and have been impacted by systemic injustice and racism. We are committed to raising the voices of people of color within our chapter and our community through the creation of a committee focusing on dismantling institutionalized racism within our chapter and empowering the voices of people of color in our community. It is crucial that we seek to understand and support one another. That we all commit to permanently raising the bar and making the world a better place through tolerance, inclusion, and proactively speaking out against what is wrong and unjust.
Sincerely,
ISACA Central Ohio Chapter Leaders
