    • Senior Auditor (Information Technology) - Honda (Posted on 8/12/2024)

    The primary role of the Senior Auditor - Information Technology is to help identify, plan and conduct audit and consulting of information technology processes at Honda Group companies, including affiliated suppliers and / or vendors.  The Sr. Auditor will assist management with improving the efficiency / effectiveness of their system of internal controls and reduction of risk through analysis of operations and communication of findings including identification of root causes and providing recommendations. The Sr. Auditor will apply common audit methodologies and approaches to plan and conduct information technology audits and will work closely with management personnel at all levels to track countermeasure implementation. The Sr. Auditor may also support other operational audit teams within the Audit Division to provide subject matter expertise. Additionally, the Sr. Auditor may be assigned to work on confidential business matters with other business teams / departments within the Honda Group.  Additionally, the Sr. Auditor is required to perform follow-up on the status of outstanding audit issues. The Sr. Auditor will also assist AHM Audit management with the development of the annual internal audit plan, champion internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the business and support business planning activities, as assigned. The Sr. Auditor may periodically direct and review the work performed by other Audit Division associates.

      • Chief Risk Officer - School Employees Retirement System of Ohio (SERS) (Posted on 4/09/2024)

      SERS, with approximately $18 billion in assets, located in Columbus, Ohio, is searching for a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to join this highly regarded public retirement system.  Serving over 240,000 members and more than 1,000 employers, SERS is a statewide, cost sharing, multiemployer defined benefit retirement system for non-teaching persons.  The position is open as a result of the CRO’s retirement.  In early 2020, SERS started their Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program.  The program, built by adopting best practices from various frameworks, focuses on risks associated with information security, cyber risk, and insurance; vendor management; business continuity, disaster recovery and incident response; investment compliance; and artificial intelligence. Reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, the CRO is responsible for overseeing and directing the ERM program.  The CRO is a member of the senior leadership team and leads a team of three.  The successful candidate will be a confident leader who possesses an ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative working relationships with many people across the organization.  

      SERS seeks a strategic risk and/or audit executive with extensive experience in operational risk.  Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of relevant and transferable experience in enterprise risk management, auditing, strategic planning, business continuity, information security, or related fields.  Compensation includes a base salary, retirement benefits (24% contribution – 14% employer paid, and 10% employee paid, SERS does not participate in Social Security), and attractive benefits package, including reimbursement for education and professional training.  SERS also provides relocation assistance.
