Overview:
The Program Committee is responsible for securing speakers for the ISACA Detroit Chapter dinner events, held each month from September through May. Speakers are chosen based upon knowledge, relevancy of topic, and ability to engage and interest the audience. The Committee ensures speakers understand the educational role of the engagement and manages background details (Presentation summary, Bio / Headshot, when and where to present). Special dinner events include the joint ISACA / IIA December meeting and Student night (early spring).
At both face-to-face and virtual events, the Program Chair or Program Committee ensures the setup is working, introduces the speaker, manages the time as needed, closes the session, and secures presentation content for access via the Detroit Chapter member portal. At session end, the Committee collects and acts on session feedback.
