Team Leads are responsible for ordering t-shirts for chapter participants and distributing them prior to the event. ISACA is offering a bonus to the chapter's marketing assistance program funds to offset costs. See the Team Lead Instructions
for details. Additional expenses are the responsibility of the chapter (or individual participants.)
Individual participants not signing up for a chapter activity may purchase CommunITy Day t-shirts
from the ISACA storefront (inventory limited). This is at the individual's expense, and t-shirts may be used annually to show your volunteer spirit.
When participants create an account in Helper Helper, they agree to terms that release ISACA and its chapters from any liability for injuries during volunteer activities and agree to allow ISACA to use their images. It is recommended that each chapter collect waivers from each participant on site. Please see this template
. This would be managed by the individual chapter. Please note: local law may require modifications to this language, ISACA cannot provide legal counsel to its Chapters, and it is in the best interest of each Chapter to obtain independent legal counsel for further assistance in limiting their liability.
