Chat GPT is a chatbot developed by OpenAI and launched in late 2022. What is this emerging technology and what will be its impact on businesses and the academic community as well as the public sector? This webinar will be a panel discussion among technology experts from the private and public sectors and from the academic community. These professionals will discuss the risks and benefits of Chat GPT and its impact on the communities they serve.

Chris Pahl
Chief Privacy Officer

Chris Pahl is the Chief Privacy Officer for the County of Santa Clara, in San Jose, CA. Mr. Pahl is a seasoned privacy and compliance program executive who has led large teams focused on global data protection programs. His professional career shows a history of effectively bringing oversight and adopting new standards to complex operations.

Before his current role, Mr. Pahl was a Privacy Compliance Program Leader of Ethics and Compliance for Southern California Edison, where he later became Cybersecurity Senior Governance Manager. He has deep expertise in a wide range of functions related to risk management, ranging from management of day-to-day incident responses to investigations of significant, complex privacy issues. He has also developed policies, training, communications, incident management, and monitoring and governance of compliance reporting.

Mr. Pahl holds a doctorate in Strategic Leadership. He is a Fellow of Information Privacy with the International Association of Privacy Professionals and is a certified Information Privacy Professional. He also holds black and green belt certifications in Lean Six Sigma.

Jenai Marinkovic

Jenai Marinkovic is a multidisciplinary technologist and strategist with 20 years of experience in architecting, building, and securing systems at scale. She has designed and operated cybersecurity capabilities in media, live sports, gaming, and entertainment. She’s also worked in biomedical manufacturing and laboratory diagnostics, healthcare tech, and robotics in agriculture.

She has designed cybersecurity and auditing frameworks around artificially intelligent systems including their impact on diversity. Jenai has worked for large enterprise brands including DIRECTV, Electronic Arts, Beyond, and Beckman Coulter, and international investigations firms such as Kroll.

Jenai is the Executive Director and one of the founders of GRCIE, a startup nonprofit dedicated to training people from socio and economically disadvantaged communities into GRC and cybersecurity. GRCIE is home to the award-nominated, NextCISO Apprenticeship school.

Tom Moyer

Additionally, he has served as an electronics and cybersecurity specialist in the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
