  • Correction regarding recent Vinga event reminder

Last night, we sent out a wrongly worded notification via Engage. Unfortunately, due to a semi-automated email template (and an unrelated abused bug), the message read like a confirmed invitation to attend the event, including wording that could be interpreted as a free drop-in or “see you there.”

This was not our intention, and we sincerely apologise for the confusion. The message was intended to inform you, the recipients, about an updated event with a new preliminary date and to invite them to sign up for the event, not to confirm attendance.

    About the event

Vinga is a new meeting place for senior information security and cybersecurity leaders on the West Coast. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together experienced leaders and practitioners to exchange insights, discuss shared and emerging challenges, and strengthen professional networks. The format includes short expert briefings followed by in-depth peer discussions conducted under the Chatham House Rule, with a strong focus on experience sharing and trusted dialogue.

    Important participation details

This is a registration-based event with limited seats, intended for a specific audience. Registration constitutes an expression of interest, and participants will be selected to ensure a relevant and balanced group. Attendance is limited to registered and confirmed participants only.

We are actively looking for additional participants to join the event and encourage relevant professionals in the Göteborg area to register their interest via the event page.

For this and all ISACA Sweden Chapter events, registration is always required.

This message will be sent via Engage tomorrow to update and clarify the situation.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Kind regards,
    ISACA Sweden Chapter
