2024 Volunteer Appreciation Week Blog Contributors

Are you an ISACA Volunteer? We want to hear from you! ISACA is seeking volunteer submissions to be included in a compilation article for the ISACA Now Blog, and featured for the 2024 Volunteer Appreciation Week.

DISREGARD start date listed. Applications can be submitted on a rolling basis until 15 April. Not all who apply will be selected.

Anticipated Outcomes/Guidelines:

• Interested volunteers should complete all or some of the discussion prompts included in the opportunity application.
• Application submissions MUST be written in full sentences in English. Those that are not written in full sentences will not be featured.
• Volunteers may choose to complete only those questions that are applicable to their work with ISACA, but filling out as much as possible contributes to your story and likelihood of being featured.
• By submitting an application, you agree that your comments and attribution may be featured in the ISACA Now Volunteer Appreciation Week blog.
• Not all submissions will be selected to be featured. Submitting an application is not a guarantee of placement, although ISACA is grateful for the opportunity to learn more about all volunteer experiences.

Volunteer Criteria:

• Must have completed a prior volunteer opportunity with ISACA Global.
  • 2023 volunteers preferred, but all are accepted.
• Able to write submissions and receive feedback for revisions in English.
• ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE WRITTEN IN COMPLETE SENTENCES.
• ISACA membership not required.
• Contributors may be asked to sign and return the blog author agreement prior to being published.
• Submissions must be original content and may not have been previously published elsewhere.
• By submitting an application, volunteers agree that their comments and attribution may be featured in the ISACA Now Volunteer Appreciation Week blog.

Volunteer Benefits:

• Up to 1 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
• Gain exposure for your volunteer contributions on ISACA’s global platforms.
• Help advance ISACA's thought leadership by contributing to the ISACA Now Blog as well as by sharing to your professional networks.
• Create awareness for ISACA’s volunteer program, increasing the volunteer pool of subject matter experts contributing to ISACA thought leadership.
