2024 IT Audit Student Member Focus Groups (Market Research)

ISACA is holding two virtual focus groups for ISACA student members interested in careers in IT/IS Audit. We would like to gather your feedback on a potential new product. 

Each participant will receive a $100 eGift card and 2 CPE upon successfully participating in the focus group session.

Anticipated Outcomes:

• Each online focus group will have between 4-6 participants and will be facilitated by trained moderators from SA Market Insights, ISACA’s trusted research vendor. ISACA staff may also participate in the session.
• Discussions will be conducted and facilitated in English.
• Focus group discussions will last approximately 2 hours.
• Selected volunteers must have a video camera (and stable internet connection) and turn it on for the duration of the discussion.
• Group discussions will be recorded for internal ISACA research use only.
• Activity is scheduled to take place on 19 November 6-8pm GMT and 6-8pm CT USA 
• Space is limited. Not all applications will be approved based on needed volunteer composition. 

Volunteer Criteria:

• ISACA student membership required.
• Must be interested in a career in IT audit
• Do not currently hold a CISA certification but intend to pursue one in the future
• Currently enrolled in a university or college as a graduate or undergraduate student
• Full or part-time students welcome

Volunteer Benefits:

• Up to 2 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
• Contribute to the development of ISACA's credentialing portfolio.
