Description:

The Chapter Liaisons Working Group (CLWG) serves as liaisons between ISACA Global and chapter leaders. The group is among the first to be made aware of new policies, procedures, new features, etc. so they can assist the chapter relations team in responding to chapter inquiries and building momentum among the global community. They relay concerns or issues to ISACA Global and are leaders in and champions of change management.

Anticipated outcomes:

        Each member will:

  • Assist in developing the program for the Global Leadership Summit (GLS - March 12-14, Singapore), attend the meeting and help manage onsite logistics.
  • For items pertaining specifically to chapters: Continue to be onboarded with new ISACA programs and processes as items are developed and be confident in serving as the primary point of contact in peer-to-peer exchanges, as needed.
  • Advise on potential challenges as new initiatives are explored and/or launched.
  • Help communicate change and build enthusiasm among the chapter leaders for new programs and strategies that will enhance the organization. 

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Be a current ISACA member
  • Have served a minimum of one year as a chapter leader, either current or past
  • Be able to attend the Global Leadership Summit. (ISACA to cover related travel expenses.)
  • Have general knowledge of ISACA frameworks, products, certifications and services
  • Geographic representation required
  • Representation from small, medium, large, and very large chapters will be considered

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 20 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
  • Attend the Global Leadership Summit in Singapore and work closely with ISACA staff on developing and executing a successful event.
