Description:

Volunteers are needed to provide feedback on their overall career path and the professional opportunities that have helped along the way. Through 1-1 interviews with ISACA staff they will describe how these opportunities have had an impact on them and helped in their day-to-day work as an IT professional.

Disregard listed start date. Volunteers will be approved and interviews scheduled on a rolling basis until 26 July.

Anticipated Outcomes:

  • Selected volunteers will participate in 1-1 virtual interviews with ISACA staff to provide information around the professional development opportunities that have impacted their careers.
  • Insights will be collected and added to other research to further inform ISACA decision-making around learning opportunities, mentorship and community efforts to help IT professionals in their careers.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Current IT professional.
  • Understanding of the IT market including certifications and sources of knowledge currently available for assurance professionals.
  • Seeking volunteers with traditional and non-traditional career paths into IT.
  • ISACA Membership not required.
  • Certification not required.
  • A balance of expertise and industry representation are preferred over geographic diversity.
  • Fluency in English (speaking/understanding) for the interview.
  • Prefer availability between 8am-5pm US Central Time for the interview.

Volunteer Benefits:

  • Up to 1_CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
