Description:

ISACA is convening a small group of subject matter experts for a 1-hour, in-person discussion at the ISACA 2026 North America Conference to gather insights that will shape a new AI governance framework. We are seeking practitioners who govern or support enterprise AI governance in practice and can speak to real-world needs, pain points, and success patterns. 

 

Anticipated outcomes:

  • Selected volunteers will participate in a 1 hour session onsite at the ISACA 2025 North America Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday, 7 May from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm (lunch served) in Champagne 1.
  • Participants will share experiences, best practices, and challenges related to AI governance in your role and market
  • Participants identify the resources, skills, and tools professionals and organizations need to effectively govern enterprise AI
  • Participants provide feedback on ISACA’s draft framework structure and content priorities
  • Participants help ISACA support practitioners tasked with AI governance (e.g., how organizations staff AI governance, new roles vs. expanded responsibilities, critical competencies) 

 

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Must be a registered attendee of the in-person ISACA 2026 North America Conference (if you are not a registered attendee, please refrain from applying.)
  • Open to ISACA members and non-members
  • Must be available to attend the session during time specified: Thursday, 7 May from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
  • Mix of job domains and industries (audit/GRC, risk, privacy, security, legal/compliance, data/AI, product/operations)
  • Willing to review and comment on current framework direction and outline
  • Willing to discuss how your organization approaches AI governance, lessons learned, and opportunity areas for the framework
  • Must be mid-late career
  • Must have professional experience with IT audit/GRC, enterprise digital transformation, AI governance, AI adoption, data privacy, data governance, AI development, security management
  • Willingness to share their subject matter expertise 

Volunteer benefits:  

  • Up to 1 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term (i.e., research development, certification review manual development, Knowledge Center contributor, performing peer reviews.)
