SheLeadsTech is hosting a panel session from 14:15 – 15:15 on Thursday, 24 October 2024 at ISACA Europe Conference entitled, “Navigating Guidance: Understanding the Roles of Coaching, Mentorship, and Sponsorship.” 5 volunteers are invited to participate in a one hour collaborative session following the panel to distill the key definitions of mentorship, sponsorship, and coaching; when each are applicable to advancing someone’s career; and how they could initiate such a relationship.
Anticipated outcomes:
The summary of the panel takeaways will be developed into an infographic to be shared on the ISACA SheLeadsTech website, in social media promotions, with SheLeadsTech Chapter Liaisons, and within the chapter toolkit.
The expectation is that SheLeadsTech program participants and supporters who were unable to attend the panel will be able to learn from the panelists and apply the insights to help advance their careers.
How volunteers will accomplish this:
The selected volunteers will receive a template prior to the session to capture notes from the panel discussion.
Following the one hour panel, the volunteer group will convene from 15:30 – 16:30 for a one-hour facilitated group discussion to distill their notes and create succinct copy for ISACA to develop into an infographic of the key takeaways.
