Description:

This group of volunteers, targeting CMMI adopting end-use organizations, will participate in the CMMI Customer Advisory Panel to support long-term performance and realize the growth potential of the entire CMMI Performance Solutions ecosystem. The experienced group of panel members encourages and facilitates open and informed dialogue between ISACA and CMMI users. 

Anticipated Outcomes:

The volunteers will actively participate as members of the CMMI Customer Advisory Panel. It is expected that volunteers will:

  • Provide a crucial source of practical insights about user needs and product direction and need.
  • Provide ISACA with direct end-use customer feedback on product direction, improvements, and by advising on plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively prepare for, attend, and participate in scheduled meetings.
  • Review read-aheads, prepare and provide best practices and lessons learned information from CMMI and other framework adoption.
  • Complete assigned actions to contribute to the panel’s work.  

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Invitation only, extended to 2025 participants.
  • Preference given to representatives of CMMI end-use organizations who have participated in recent CMMI appraisals (V2.0 or beyond)
  • Must be in good standing with ISACA – no quality or financial issues
  • Geographic area considered for diversity
  • ISACA membership not required

Volunteer Benefits:

  • Up to 20 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term. This activity does not align to an Exam Content Outline (ECO).
  • CPEs for CMMI certifications are tracked internally through the process detailed in the CMMI Certification – Partner Sponsored Renewal Policy. CMMI certified individuals may earn up to 20 CPEs (max. 50 during your current certification period) toward Category II - Continuing Education & Community Support per Appendix B of the Renewal Policy. Please maintain a log of the CPEs earned for your own records.
