Description:

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of the Biometrics Security Audit Program. The group’s deliverable will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the audit program’s content as well as assessment of whether the audit program’s controls and test steps are aligned with current best practices. 

 

Anticipated outcomes: 

The volunteers will support the delivery of the Biometrics Security Audit Program by reviewing a draft audit program for: 

  • Technical accuracy; and
  • Alignment with current best practices  

It is expected that the draft document will be available for review by 16 January, 2025. The timeline may be modified, however, depending on ISACA’s production schedule or changes in the audit program’s final publication timeline

Volunteer Criteria:  

  • Current knowledge of best practices and controls related to Biometrics technology
  • Practical experience planning and conducting IT audits 
  • CISA certification 

Volunteer benefits:   

  • Up to 5 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
