Description:

Volunteers will assist in bringing the ISACA Glossary up to date by reviewing for relevancy, accuracy, and timeliness, and suggesting new terms for inclusion. 

Anticipated Outcomes:

  • Volunteers will be assigned a batch of terms from the ISACA Glossary to determine if any need be to be updated, changed, or are obsolete and should be deleted.
  • Volunteers will be asked to suggest new terms for inclusion to reflect the latest technologies and descriptions.
  • Volunteers will vet each other’s suggestions to determine the validity of the proposed changes.
  • Volunteers may also be asked to look at the entire Glossary holistically for completeness and accuracy.
  • The fully revised, updated glossary will be published on the ISACA website and in other ISACA publications.  

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Professionals practicing in IT audit, information security, privacy, governance, or risk (associated credentials preferred).
  • Knowledge of ISACA frameworks, products, certifications and services.
  • ISACA Membership not required.

Volunteer Benefits:  

  • Up to 15 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
