Description:

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of the NIST CSF 2.0 Audit Program. The group’s deliverable will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the audit program’s content as well as assessment of whether the audit program’s controls and test steps are aligned with current best practices. 

Anticipated Outcomes: 

The volunteers will support the delivery of the NIST CSF 2.0 Audit Program by reviewing a draft audit program for:

  • Technical accuracy; and
  • Alignment with current best practices 

It is expected that the draft document will be available for review by February 26, 2024. The timeline may be modified, however, depending on ISACA’s production schedule or changes in NIST CSF 2.0 final publication’s timeline.

Volunteer Criteria (required):

  • Current knowledge of best practices and controls related to NIST CSF
  • Practical experience planning and conducting IT audits
  • CISA certification

Volunteer Criteria (preferred):

  • Certification(s) in security (e.g., CSX-P, CISSP, CEH, GSEC, other)
  • Geographic area representation, preferred

Volunteer Benefits: 

  • Up to 5 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
