2019 SME Review: Third Party Assurance Whitepaper

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of a whitepaper on the subject of Third Party Assurance. The group’s deliverable will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the whitepaper’s content as well as assessment of whether the whitepaper is aligned with current best practices.

Anticipated outcomes:

The volunteers will support the delivery of a whitepaper on the topic of Third Party Assurance by reviewing a whitepaper (approximately 5,000 words) for:

• Technical accuracy; and
• Alignment with current best practices

Volunteer Criteria:

• Current audit or assurance practitioner.
• Knowledge of third party management, key performance indicators, RPA/Machine Learning and other emerging tech as related to third party assurance.
• CISA or CRISC certification required.
• Geographic area representation preferred.

Volunteer benefits:

• Up to 4 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the review.
