2019 50th Anniversary Advisory Panel

In 2019 ISACA is celebrating its 50^th anniversary, and a variety of activities are marking the past and considering the future of our professional community and the business technology industry. The ISACA Communications Team is leading the organization-wide effort in executing and continuing to expand the anniversary programs and activities and seeks volunteers to advise ISACA volunteer leaders and staff, and to serve as communications ambassadors for anniversary-related efforts. Volunteer experience and expertise will be tapped in the following areas:

• history of the organization and major milestones
• history of the professions served
• creative programming and initiatives to pay homage to our roots
• propelling opportunities beyond the anniversary dates
• serving as vocal and visible anniversary ambassadors over time.
• Potentially serving on panels and in other speaking opportunities related to the anniversary activities

Anticipated outcomes:

The advisory panel is focused on the execution of ISACA’s 50^th anniversary celebrations around the world. Members are regularly being asked to provide input on programs, activities, and opportunities at the local and international levels. We conduct monthly calls, and other ad hoc meetings to share ideas and provide feedback on plans for the celebration, with other work done via email between meetings. We are tracking activities and results in a monthly overall scorecard.

Volunteer Criteria:

    Individual criteria:

• Knowledge of current and past ISACA frameworks, products, certifications and services.
• Ability to think creatively in suggesting activities related to ISACA’s 50^th
• Strong belief in the value of ISACA’s history, purpose, and promise.
• Current ISACA Membership is required.
• Ability to connect to virtual meetings at least on a monthly basis (to be scheduled based on the needs of the campaign)

Panel composition:

• Geographic area representation required.
• Diverse representation of ISACA professional domains.
• Spectrum of experience levels within the panel composition.

Volunteer benefits:

• Up to 20 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups to be added to those with ISACA certifications at the end of the term for active participation.
