Description:

With the recent roll out of the chapter affiliation agreements and the newly created Chapter Compliance Framework Procedures, this task force will assist with the successful roll out and implementation of chapter compliance requirements in 2019.

Anticipated outcomes:

The Chapter Compliance Framework Task Force has created the chapter compliance framework to ensure ISACA chapters and ISACA International maintain a mutually beneficial relationship in carrying out the terms of the chapter affiliation agreement. This working group will continue with the implementation of the compliance model that will go into effect in 2019. To accomplish a smooth roll out of the process and requirements to chapters, the working group will:

  • Be heavily involved with the roll out of the compliance framework throughout the year,
  • Serve as regional ambassadors/support for chapters that are having difficulty becoming compliant,
  • Evaluate and suggest any changes to make to the compliance framework to ISACA staff,
  • Develop a plan to audit chapters that will begin in 2020.
Volunteer Criteria:
  • Current or recent experience as a chapter leader
  • Knowledge of ISACA frameworks, products, certifications and services.
  • All participants shall be current ISACA members.
  • Geographic area representation required.
  • Representation from small, medium, large, and very large chapters will be considered.
Volunteer benefits:
  • Up to 20 CPE credits in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups (i.e., active participation on an ISACA working group with a charge other than research development, certification review manual development, Knowledge Center contribution, or peer review.)

All volunteers must have an ISACA Participation Agreement on file. To see if your agreement is active, visit your volunteer profile. Access all volunteer policies here.
